Photography for Mouthwash Magazine, Issue II: Home.
Honoured to shoot an editorial for Mouthwash Studio. I based this body of work on a poem I wrote about how we make people our homes and how emotionally toxic it can be. Knowing that no human can ever complete us. How Jesus is the only place we should call home. I aimed to show the relational tension through this series.

my heart is in many places
too many homes this heart is in
a preconceived notion or idea of a human
a feeling found in someone else
finding homes in people instead of my saviour
my heart shall have one home
a home that is stable
a home that is steady
a home that is trusting
a home that is eternal
my heart shall reside in the one whom made me.
